Eleanor M. Karnbach

Eleanor M. Karnbach, age 90, of Central Point, died August 16, 2004 at her home. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 23, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford.

— Eleanor was born April 26,1914 at Kenton, Ohio a daughter of Carl and Hazel Briggs. She attended school in Los Angeles, CA and graduated from Poly Tech. On December 16,1934 in Los Angeles, CA, she married Raymond Karnbach.

— Mrs. Karnbach was a homemaker for 32 years and worked as a cafeteria manager for 18 years in El Monte, CA. She moved to Medford in 1984 from El Monte, CA.

— She enjoyed being with her family. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, crocheting, reading and visiting the coast as often as possible.

Survivors include a daughter, Pauline Alvarez of Central Point, OR; and sons, Richard of Springfield, MO, and Kenneth of Rogue River, OR; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Margarette Vertrees and Pauline Briggs; brother Duane Briggs; sons Carl and Raymond; and daughter Dixie Varella.
