PATRICIA NORTON was born on May 9, 1941 in Oakland, California. Patricia is living in Santa Barbara, CA. Patricia's son, Jeffrey Leland Vieira, passed away at the age of 62 on March 14, 2023 of internal bleeding caused by an esophageal hemorrhage.

MARGRET ("Maggie") NORTON was born on November 12, 1942. She passed away January 29, 2023 of pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 80. Maggie never had any children. She was burried at the Santa Barbara Cemetery where her father (Robert Leigh Norton), her mother, and her younger brother, Robert ("Babe") Norton are also buried.

History
JOHN RANDOLPH NORTON was born on December 25, 1943. He passed away on April 25, 2023 (age 79) in the early morning hours of a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Susan K. Norton. They lived in Goleta, CA.
John had three children by a prior marriage: Michelle, John Jr and Michael.
Offspring
MICHAEL NORTON, Mike and Carrie live in Lake Steven in Washington State. Mike is a Sales Manager for Genie Industries (www.genieindustries.com), and has been there for 16 years (as of 2005). His territories include Western Canada, Washington, Oregon and California. Mike and Carrie do not have any children (yet...).
JOHN NORTON, JR, John lives in Duvall. John also works for Genie Industries. He is a product manager, and has been there about 10 years (as of 2005).
MICHELLE NORTON, Michelle lives in Bothel, WA as of 2005.

ROBERT NORTON (aka BABE) was born on May 27, 1946 in San Mateo, CA, and died on December 11, 1976 in Oregon.

SUSAN LEIGH NORTON |
History
SUSAN LEIGH (NORTON) NAGAMINE was born on September 4, 1947 to Robert Leigh Norton and Cecilia Joan (Dunn) Norton in San Mateo, California. At age 73, she passed due to lung cancer peacefully on March 13, 2021 in Santa Barbara, CA, listening to her favorite music with her daughter by her side. Susan grew up in Montecito, CA, the 5th of 7 children. After graduating school, Susan married Ross Nagamine and spent the better part of a decade having many adventures in California then relocating to Seattle,Washington, where they founded and operated a home construction business, then began commercial salmon fishing. Many of Susan’s favorite stories were from this exciting, entrepreneurial time. Together they had a daughter, Tara, but divorced shortly after.
Susan raised Tara in Goleta, where she also enjoyed a lengthy, gratifying career at Raytheon EW as an expert in material planning and control. To this profession Susan brought dedication, persistence, vital analytic skills, meticulous accuracy, attention to detail, and so always drew the most challenging assignments and new projects. Susan was well known for her candid commentary - she would tell it like it is. Even if people didn’t always want to hear it, they needed to. This was accompanied by a generosity of spirit by which she would go above and beyond to help those in need.
Upon retirement, Susan moved from Goleta to Santa Barbara and dedicated herself to her daughter and grandchildren, twins Gianna and Justin Jr, visiting frequently to Peoria, AZ. Being an amazing grandma was her favorite hobby, and suited her perfectly. Grandma Susie was known for making the holidays special, and especially enjoyed visits around Easter and Christmas.
Susan enjoyed playing all types of games, especially Pinochle with her family as well as friends/neighbors at Rancho Santa Barbara, and indulged in a little gambling during excursions to Las Vegas. While in Nevada, she found tranquility and relaxation at her brother Michael’s home in Pahrump. Susan’s other siblings lived nearby in Santa Barbara where they enjoyed visits, football bets, watching tennis, and other pastimes.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Tara Echevarria (Justin), 8-year-old grandchildren Gianna and Justin Jr, siblings Patricia, Margret, John, Michael and Moira, as well as many nieces and nephews. Susan is predeceased by her parents, and brother Robert Leigh Jr, aka “Babe.”

MICHAEL NORTON |
History
MICHAEL NORTON was born on August 21, 1950 in San Mateo, California. Michael had been living in Pahrump, Nevada at the time he passed away on June 7, 2021 from liver and heart failure. Michael's sister, Patricia, shared with me, "He enjoyed his life just the way he wanted once my Mother died. But he was a really good son to her, living with her the last ten or more years of her life and taking her to doctor appointments, etc. They had a special bond, probably because he was so much like my Dad. " Michael is survived by a son and daughter. Mike's favorite activity was horseshoes! In fact, he was the secretary-treasurer of the Nevada State Horseshoe Pitching Association!

History
MORIA NORTON was born on June 23, 1957 in Santa Barbara, California. Moira still lives in Santa Barbara and, as of 2005, has her own business (MLN Field Services).
