Mobile Park Christmas Program
December 8, 2001
I want to thank all of our church members who participated in this life-changing program. Our speakers included are Associate Pastor, Gary Miller, and Lisa Norton (Children's Ministry).
Additionally, I would like to extend deep appreciation to Nina (Manager), Bill and Hazel (Club President) for their efforts and donations. These three residents of the Quartz Hill Mobile Home Park were a prayer answered. They openly accepted our offer of bringing a "Christmas Celebration" into their community and donated hours of their time helping to make the Celebration a success.
Walt, Lisa and Destiny, who are members of our Church and dear friends, took time out of their busy schedules and donated time, special gifts, financial aid along with bringing a special guest to our Celebration.
Kathy Case blessed our ministry by donating toys for the children of the community, a real hit. My Brother, Chris, and his wife, Christina, helped with all the photography, raffles and prizes. Debbie helped with distributing the bears and toys to the children. They all were deeply needed and appreciated.
We are a Church fulfilling the will of God by reaching out to save the lost through spreading His promise of forgiveness and Salvation with everlasting life through Jesus Christ. Our willingness to take our Church to the streets will better enable us to reach more people who are in need Salvation, Healing and Guidance in their lives.
This was a most enjoyable evening and uplifting experience for all of us. The people in the community who attended this program expressed their deep appreciation for us taking time during this holiday season to spend with them and share what God has done in our lives, and what HE could do in theirs. Again, we felt blessed by being allowed to love and help our neighbors who were in need of learning the truth from the Word of God! We look forward to meeting with them again soon.
Below are some pictures of the Christmas Celebration program.
God bless all who are reading this. Until next time, keep your faith strong and your smiles bright!
Faithfully Yours,
Pastor Dave
